When Woody and Lena shut down Captone Music out in Fontana, California, Woody invited me out to their ranch to buy some gear. On the back of the property stood a building as large as an airplane hangar, filled with new and used guitars, amps, and other misc. instruments. I made a total of 3 trips out there, returning to my shop each time with my van loaded with gear. Somewhere I have photos of new old stock St. George, Standel, and Mosrite guitars as well as over 100 various color sparkle St. George guitar bags and black leather St.George guitar straps. The old ( I think it was Ford Econoline) St. George delivery van was sitting nearby among the chickens with 4 flat tires. Woody offered me that too, but sadly, I passed.on that purchase. I still dream about those days ! The guitars were wrapped in plastic inside the original cardboard shipping boxes !! And parts parts and more parts !!
