This bass is in excellent 100% ALL ORIGINAL cosmetic condition. The original nitrocellulose black paint looks slightly foggy because we have not polished the finish. The pickups and electronics are completely original, and the bass sounds amazing. It produces Hofner-like richness, with the clacky percussive quality of a Jazz Bass. The fretless neck enhances the unique voicing, in addition to, increasing the ease of playing. The perfectly straight neck has a slim to medium sized C-shape profile, which is comfortable for both guitar and bass players. The dual pickup placement renders the bass very versatile and dynamic. All hardware, including the Schaller tuning machines, is original. The bass exhibits typical and expected playing wear, and does not have any cracks, breaks, or repairs. The U.S.B.A. label on the heel of the neck is an acronym for “The United States Bad Asses,” whom used this bass during their long and illustrious biker rock musical career. The bass does not come with a case, but will be packed and shipped accordingly. This is a very high quality rare vintage bass, and this no issues example is perfect for collectors and players alike.
