Information on Hohner bass #1003 was sent by an ebay seller a while back.  He says that there is no Bartell label inside the F-hole, just a hand punch tag.  Nicely aged to a cool greenish black which is typical when the clearcoat starts to yellow with age and (probably) nicotine.
